Cantina Tollo has long been one of Abruzzo’s standard-bearers, championing native varieties and producing wines with real regional identity.
Their Pecorino — a grape once nearly lost — is a brilliant expression of Abruzzo’s coastal hills, where altitude, limestone soils and Adriatic breezes combine to give the variety its trademark tension and aromatic lift.

In the glass it’s bright, zesty and expressive, opening with aromas of lemon peel, white peach, wild herbs and acacia blossom.
The palate is crisp yet textured, balancing ripe orchard fruit with a distinctive saline, mineral edge that speaks clearly of its hillside origins.
A gentle almond note on the finish — classic Pecorino — adds complexity and length.

Modern and vibrant, this is a versatile Italian white that shines with seafood, salads, antipasti, creamy pasta dishes, grilled chicken or simply as a refreshing aperitivo.
A benchmark example from one of Abruzzo’s most respected producers.
