Indulge in the Art of Mixology with Your Own Homemade Gimlet!

Step 1: Infuse lime zest into sugar syrup for up to 24 hours, allowing the flavors to meld together.

Step 2: Blend the lime and sugar mixture, then strain out the lime and add 1/5 of water to achieve the perfect balance.

Step 3: Combine 50ml of crisp, cork-dried gin with a minimum of 15ml of your homemade lime cordial in a stirring vessel.

Step 4: Stir until the mixture is ice-cold, and adjust to taste as you go.

Step 5: Serve in a chilled coupe or martini glass (keep it cold if possible) and enjoy the fruits of your labor!

P.S. If you're using small ice cubes, be sure to use a fine strainer like a pasta steel mess stainer to prevent any ice shards from ruining your drink.
