100% White Grenache
From the region of Terra Alta in Spain comes this fascinating white wine with an alcohol percentage of 14.5%!!
We don't often talk about the alcohol content in such detail but for a Spanish white this really caught our eye!

Produced by Pagos de Hi-bera with vines between 35-65 years old and then 5 months in batonnage in stainless steel tanks.
Pale yellow in colour with golden hints.
Floral scents like roses and jasmine are pushing through along aide fruit aromas such as peaches and syrup and tropical fruit!

I found the sweet smells slightly deceiving as it is such a balanced white on the pallet.
Of course it is quite complex with a huge personality which makes up for the ABV but it also has subtle hints of freshness and unctuous.
This particular white can be stored away for yet another few years or drunk straight away.
