Marc Bredif Brut Vouvray12.5% ABV
Country of Origin: France
Known for his Vouvray but also for his softness, Mr. Bredif was a pioneer in the world of winemakers, creating the sparkling Vouvray from the beginning of the twentieth century. In 1980, Baron Patrick de Ladoucette took over as a true wine lover. In love with quality and tradition, he gave a new impetus to this house several hundred years old. Its troglodyte cellars of the Domaine, dug in the tufa from the tenth century, are among the most beautiful and the largest of the appellation. They contain very rare wines, whose vintages date back to 1874.
Pale gold colour with green reflections, the bubbles are fine, presents a superb nose which is fruity, floral with notes of acacia flower, citrus lime, grapefruit, then aeration notes of toast. The palate is creamy, fresh with acacia, and of a great length.
100% Chenin, vines from 20 to 25 years old, manual harvest, Coteaux de Vouvray and Vernou-sur-Brenne, on clay-siliceous or clay-sandy soils
Perfect as an aperitif, on skimmed delicacies, on desserts (caramel, vanilla, praline)
